Day 2 continued..

Ok I have kept you all waiting long enough. So after driving through South Bend and remembering my fond memories of South Bend, thanks Maddie, I continued on. The next event to hit me was the change in time zones. I have now entered the central time zone. Would have been cooler to say the twilight zone but that comes later. Wow an extra hour to myself. Did time stand still. Did I go back in time. No I just had to begin changing the time on my watch and car clock. Now with an extra hour to myself what should I do... Easy question to answer. I kept driving on. Next stop Illonis. More of the same driving scenery. Beautfiul farm country with the occasional big city thrown in for some diversity. I had stopped for a quick stretch break prior to entering Chicago. This would be the first time I will actually see traffic in since leaving New York. Well I entered the bowels of Chicago and sure enough TRAFFIC!!! Well it was bound to happen but for as tired as I was I really didnt even care. Chicago is beautiful. Some of the local attractions I came across were US Cellular Field, Allstate Arena and the Sears Tower. Ok I am a big sports fan so I noticed those first. Leaving Chicago and worked my way out of Illonis into Wisconsin. Back to the flat farm country roads of this great USA. I have now left the happy confines of route 80 and now on Interstate 90. A quick pit stop and I worked my way all the way to Madison, Wisconsin where I decided to rest my head for the night. I am now in cheese country. Home of the cheese heads. A quick dinner and it was off to sleep. The final day was just around the corner..
