My dad used to open the door on New Year's Eve to let the old year out and the new year in. I will be happy to do this on December 31st, and will say to 2009. "Dont let the door hit you on the way out."
It's a bit cliche at the end of the year to say that you cant believe how fast the year has flown by, But, I can't believe how fast this year has gone by.
Here is a quicklist of things that have happened this year...
House for sale
House finally sells after 8 months of trying
Moving and watching your furniture go away for a long time.
Moving in with my mom.. Ok I love her but that was torture.
Sending my dogs to South Dakota.
Interviewing for a job in South Dakota
Moving away from my family while I begun a new job
Living in a hotel. Not all its cracked up to be
Finally getting the family back together. Still living in the hotel
Then finally moving into our new home.
Christmas Blizzard
A very eventful year..I hope things begin to quiet down in 2010. 2009 had its challenges and at times I wondered if it would ever end. Now that we are all together and getting life back to normal I feel strong that 2010 will be the best year ever.
I miss you all and want to wish you all a Happy New Year....
May 2010 be everything you want it to be....
